I always forget that I have this little news section. That's probably fine, though.
Tokyopop decided to push a bunch of releases that were allegedly scheduled for July to October, for whatever reason. I try to keep release dates updated, but sometimes publishers move them arbitrarily. Since this website is manually updated, info might not be current. As it is said... it can't be helped.
In more exciting news, a ton of new yuri and baihe licenses were announced at the recent AnimeExpo in Los Angeles. The most exciting (for me) is Seven Seas' licensing of I See You, Aizawa-san!, an incredible horror-comedy about a girl who sees ghosts and the mute ghost of a dead idol. It's one of the most popular yuri manga in Japan right now, and it's not hard to see why - it's absolutely hilarious while still being... well, horrific. And it's cute! I highly recommend it. They expect it to release in June 2027. Seven Seas also announced three baihe novels: Miss Forensics: Wo Qinai De Fayi Xiaojie by Jiu Nuan Chun Shen, and two novels by Qing Jun Mo Xiao; My Wandering Spirit Lady and Matrilocal Marriage: Ruzhui.
From Yen Press we have license announcements of The 11th Cat is Nene, about a disguised mouse girl in a land of cat girls, and Takane-san and Arashi-chan, about a quiet girl and her easily-flustered girlfriend. They've also announced Chihaya Re:Start!, which is probably not explicitly yuri, but as a girl's sports manga, might be enjoyable for himejoshi regardless.
Lastly, Kodansha will be publishing Battan's Fatale Game in English. Their previous work, Run Away With Me, Girl is one of my favorite yuri of all time, so I'm looking forward to it.
